Katara has announced its vehicle restrictions from 15 November to 18 December which include the limiting of cars that are allowed to enter Katara from 1 pm.

Below are the restrictions imposed by Katara:

• All vehicles are allowed to enter from 8 am to 1 pm.
• From 1 pm, only the following vehicles will be allowed to enter:
  • Employees and workers of Katara
  • Participants in the events
  • Delivery vehicles for restaurants and shops in Katara
  • Taxis, Limousines, and Hotel residents of the Katara Cultural Village

Visitors of Katara may access the following parking zones allocated for visitor vehicles:

• South Side of Katara: capacity of 2,000 parking spaces
• Energy Building: capacity of 600 parking spaces
• NOTE: Assembly points have been placed near the parking area to transport visitors to the events area

Visitors may also use public transportation to access Katara. The Katara metro station and Al Qassar metro station connect visitors to the Katara Cultural Village.
