Doha International Airport will be open for airlines that will be operating shuttle flights during the FIFA World Cup from today, 7 September 2022.
According to the Peninsula, Qatar Airways shuttle flights from/to Cairo for the Lusail Super Cup will operate from Doha International Airport (DIA), and not Hamad International Airport (HIA), as stated by Qatar Airways in its travel alert. Qatar Airways issued a travel alert to passengers travelling on 7-9 September on the following shuttle flights for the Lusail Super Cup: QR7311, QR7375, or QR7313.
Jazeera Airways has also announced on their Twitter account that starting from 15 September until 30 December, all their regular flights will be moved to Doha International Airport (DIA) instead of the Hamad International Airport (DOH) to make way for preparations for the World Cup.

It was also noted by Jazeera Airways that the World Cup shuttle flights will be operating to Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH).
