Argentina and Croatia took on each other at the Lusail Stadium on 13 December 2022 to battle for their position in the finals.

Argentina defeated Croatia with a score of 3-0.
The first goal was scored by Lionel Messi in the 34th minute, followed by the second goal for Argentina, scored by Julian Alvarez in the 39th minute.
Argentina's third goal and the final goal of the match was also scored by Julian Alvarez in the 69th minute.
Argentina will now be seen playing for the winning trophy at the World Cup finals.
