In a tweet by Qatar’s FIFA World Cup 2022™ delivery and legacy organisation (@roadto2022), it was reported that all continents qualified in the Round of 16 during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This feat is a first in the history of the FIFA World Cup.

It can be recalled that the following teams from all continents in the world were able to push through to the Round of 16 of the World Cup:

• Netherlands
• Poland

• Spain
