The stadium's exterior presents spectacular aesthetics with a play of lights and shadows inspired by the traditional Fanar Lantern (also known as 'Fanoos'). It gets its shape and intricacy from other lifestyle items rooted in the Arab and Islamic world, such as bowls & vessels.
A noteworthy fact about the stadium is that the seats will be dismantled and donated upon completion of the tournament to support sports in developing countries. The space around would be converted into a community hub.

You can also visit the public art installation 'Eqal', a life-sized sculpture of the traditional woven headpiece worn by men known as 'Igal'.
The headpiece is typically a black woven ring worn atop the white fabric known as 'ghitra', which complements the traditional white robe known as 'thobe'. This piece of art pays homage to tradition.
