The World Cup is just around the corner, and everyone is already excited!

To ensure you have a great time, there are several activities, events, and places you can explore in Qatar. But apart from that, thanks to the Hayya Card, you can visit some neighbouring countries, such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Oman!

Note: The ILoveQatar.net (ILQ) team will update this list should other countries announce visa opportunities for Hayya Cardholders.

Saudi Arabia

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced on 25 August that residents of GCC countries can apply for an eVisa to the country without having to visit their respective embassies. Saudi Arabia also announced that it will allow Hayya Cardholders to have multiple-entry visas free of charge for up to 60 days!

As per Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hayya Cardholders may enter the country 10 days before the start of the World Cup.

Below are the following eVisa benefits for Hayya Cardholders interested in visiting Saudi Arabia:

• Free eVisa
• Multiple entries to Saudi Arabia
• Stay in the country for up to 60 days
• Entry to the country 10 days before the start of the World Cup
• Perform Umrah from 11 November to 18 December 2022

United Arab Emirates

The United Arab Emirates, or the UAE is a known tourist destination in the Middle East. On 30 August, the UAE Government Media Office announced that the country will allow Hayya Cardholders to have multiple entry visas.

The UAE visa application for Hayya Cardholders will begin on 1 November 2022.

Below are the following eVisa benefits for Hayya Cardholders interested in visiting the UAE:

• One-time visa fee of QR 100
• Multiple entries to UAE
• Stay in the country for 90 days from the date of issuance
• Extension of visas for up to 90 days

NOTE: Citizens of visa-exempt countries are excluded and may enter and reside in the country according to the current and existing procedures.

Oman

Oman announced on 7 September that it will be allowing Hayya Cardholders to apply for a free multiple-entry visa to the country. Interested Hayya Cardholders may visit evisa.rop.gov.om to begin their application!

Below are the following eVisa benefits for Hayya Cardholders interested in visiting Oman:

• Free multi-trip visa to and from the State of Qatar
• Visa upon arrival to the Sultanate of Oman
• Visa validity of 60 days
• Visa holders can bring first-degree relatives to Oman
• Visa holders can change the visa category while staying in Oman (conditions apply)
