The FIFA World Cup 2022™ Tickets mobile application allows match ticket holders to manage their purchased tickets. Through the official app, ticket holders may modify guest names under each ticket or send tickets to their guests.

The match tickets are accessed through the FIFA World Cup 2022™ Tickets mobile application and are required to enter the stadium on match days.

The ILoveQatar.net (ILQ) team has put together a quick guide on how to change guest names on match tickets and send them to guests!

How to change the guest name on match tickets

1. Select the match ticket you would like to modify the guest name.

2. Click on the "Change guest" option.

3. Select a reason for the name change (optional)

Reasons include:

• Travel restrictions
• Accommodation restrictions
• Hayya application unsuccessful
• Guest's personal reason

4. Fill in the updated first name and last name.

5. Once done, click on "Save profile". This will save the name change.

How to send match tickets to guests

1. Select the match ticket you would like to send.

2. Click on the "Send your ticket(s)" option.

3. Fill in the Ticket recipient with the guest's e-mail address.

Note: Make sure the e-mail address is owned and accessed by the guest indicated on the match ticket. This guest will be able to access their match ticket using the submitted e-mail address.

4. If you would like to send more than 1 ticket to the same recipient, click on the "+ Select more tickets to send" button.

5. A window will pop up showing your available match tickets, and you can tick the tickets you would like to send. You can select up to 5 tickets to send at a time.

6. Click on "Add selected tickets" to confirm.

7. You may change the language to send your ticket(s). Available languages are Arabic, English, Dutch, Spanish, and French.

8. Once all details are confirmed, click "Send".

9. A confirmation screen will indicate the successful sending of tickets. You may also check your sent tickets through the "Sent/received Ticket(s)" option on the menu.

Notes:

• Guests who have not downloaded the official FIFA World Cup 2022™ mobile ticketing app will receive an email inviting them to download the app and create an account to access their tickets.
• Guests who have already downloaded the app and created an account will receive an email and a notification on the app to access their tickets.
• Only the main ticket applicant is allowed to send tickets, guests will not be able to transfer tickets.
  • If tickets have already been sent to a guest, and if for any reason you want to reallocate them to someone else, this guest will have to return the tickets to your phone before you can send them to a new guest.
• As the main ticket applicant, you cannot send the ticket under your name to a different person. You are only entitled to send the ticket(s) from one guest to another.
