Two firms jointly launch software to fight web scam
Two leading Internet-based companies, Cisco and Trend Micro, have joined forces to help residents fight the Internet scam recently pervading in Qatar. Trend Micro, an Internet security software, recently teamed up with Cisco a much patronised wireless router, to help keep families safe from the onslaught of Internet scam. The partnership between the two companies was recently introduced to the local market at a time when a resident became a victim to a hacker while using her Yahoo Messenger

Thousands in Musherib to lose homes

CNA-Q to host Terry Fox Run event
The College of the North Atlantic (CNA-Q) will tomorrow host the 2009 Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research. This annual event will see participants run, walk or skate to raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation. Registration will begin at noon with the run beginning at 2pm at the Duhail campus. CNA-Q has long been a sponsor of the event, with hundreds of employees taking part in the run each year and donating money throughout the year.
