Updated as of April 13, 11:17 pm: Discover Qatar adds 'Visa on Arrival' hotel booking option again on website
As of 6 April 2022, Discover Qatar has removed the mandatory hotel booking for 'Visa on Arrival' for Indian, Iranian & Pakistani nationals from its website.
As per the ILoveQatar.net (ILQ) team's call on 6 April 2022, at 1:25 pm with Discover Qatar's Leisure Services Department we were told that the mandatory hotel booking for 'Visa on Arrival' for Indian, Iranian & Pakistani nationals has been suspended since the morning of 6 April 2022. As per the department, the same will be updated on Discover Qatar's official website soon.
Discover Qatar's website on 5 April 2022, had announced that effective 14 April 2022, the Ministry of Interior (MOI) for the State of Qatar had mandated that all visitors from India, Iran & Pakistan must have a hotel booking via Discover Qatar.
