The Austrian Embassy Doha has announced on its website that citizens and residents of Qatar, who are fully vaccinated and have a valid Schengen visa can travel to Austria without quarantine from 1 July 2021. The Qatar Embassy in Austria also announced the same on its Twitter account.

The Qatar Embassy in Austria said in a statement that children under the age of 18, who are not vaccinated and are traveling with fully vaccinated parents, can also enter Austria without the need to undergo quarantine. The list of approved vaccines in Austria include Pfizer-Biontech, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Sinopharma, and Sinovac.

Passengers from Qatar who have not received the vaccination will also be able to enter Austria, but they must register online through the link: https://entry.ptc.gv.at/en.html. They must also submit a negative PCR test, taken within 72 hours before their entry into Austria, on arrival, and be subject to a 10-day quarantine period. After five days if the PCR or antigen test is negative, they are allowed to stop the quarantine.
