The Ministry of Interior (MOI) has announced in a tweet on April 29, 2022, that travelers coming into Qatar via the Abu Samra border can now get the required insurance policy online through the Qatari Unified Bureau Insurance (QUBI) website.

The required insurance policy can be availed online through the Qatari Unified Bureau Insurance (QUBI) website.
The regulation has been put in place to simplify the procedures for entrants to the State of Qatar and to reduce waiting at the insurance counters at the Border Centre, allowing for quicker entry into the country,
Meanwhile, the counters located at the Border Centre will still be operational for those who wish to issue the insurance policies manually.
