As per the announcement, Switzerland will open its borders to guests from the Gulf Cooperation Council countries who have received their vaccine from June 28, 2021, without the need to undergo quarantine or tests.
The announcement also included that though the proposal is still subject to final ratification by the parliament on 23 June, all vaccines approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the World Health Organization (WHO), including Sinopharm, are accepted.
