The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announced in a tweet on 5 January 2023 the steps to register for Hajj 1444H/2023 on the official MoHU website or Nusuk application.

The steps mentioned indicated that women would no longer require a 'Mahram'(husband/brother/father/son) to perform Hajj as 'Step 5' of adding companion or 'Mahram' details is optional, indicating that it is no longer a priority condition.
It was also mentioned that the minimum age for registration to perform Hajj for the year 2023 is 12 years old.
Additionally, it was mentioned that priority for Hajj registration would be given to those who have not previously performed Hajj.
