The Indian Embassy in Qatar in a Tweet announced that the air bubble between Qatar and India has been extended to 31 December, 2020.

The embassy also mentioned that its efforts are continuing to facilitate movement between India and Qatar.

Qatar and India India agreed to a bilateral 'air bubble' to fly passengers between the two countries for two weeks in August, which was then extended.

It was later extended until 31 October 2020.

As per the arrangement, both Indian and Qatari carriers will be permitted to operate flights between India and Qatar and carry the following categories of persons on such flights.

  1. From India to Qatar
    1. Qatari nationals
    2. Any Indian national holding any type of valid Qatar visa and destined for Qatar only. It would be for the concerned airlines to ensure that there is no travel restriction for Indian nationals to enter Qatar with the particular visa category before the issue of ticket/ boarding pass to the Indian passenger.
  2. From Qatar to India
    1. Indian nationals stranded in Qatar
    2. All Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) cardholders holding Qatari passports, and
    3. Qatari nationals (including diplomats) holding a valid visa issued by an Indian mission in any category covered under Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) guidelines dated 30 June 2020.

PLEASE NOTE: Before making any reservations in the flights being operated under the above arrangements, the passenger must confirm that they would be allowed entry into the destination country.
