[UPDATED] More direct flights between Qatar and Saudi Arabia

[UPDATE] 9 January 2021, 9:37 pm:

Qatar Airways announced in a tweet on its official Twitter account saying that it will resume flights to Saudi Arabia, starting with services to Riyadh on Monday 11 January 2021, followed by Jeddah on Thursday 14 and Dammam on Saturday 16 January.

The airline will have a daily service to Riyadh and Dammam and four flights a week to Jeddah.

[UPDATE] 9 January 2021, 7:39 pm:

Saudia, Saudi Arabia's national airline tweeted on their official Twitter account saying that you can now book flights between Saudi Arabia and Qatar starting from Monday, 11 January 2021 on their website saudia.com.

The flights are open for booking to Jeddah and Riyadh.

This flight, QR 1164, Boeing 787-8 is departing from Doha at 2:05 pm, arriving at Riyadh at 3:30 pm with a total of 1 hour 25 minutes flight time. There are no other direct flights being found at the moment and this might be the very first direct flight to Saudi Arabia since the blockade.
