"As of 9 June 2021, Qatari or third-country travellers from Qatar, if they already have a fully valid visa and are otherwise fully vaccinated, may re-enter France without quarantine upon arrival", said a Tweet by the Ambassade de France au Qatar.

Upon departure from Qatar, travellers must present evidence of a complete vaccination cycle:

  • 2 weeks after the 2nd dose of Pfizer, Moderna or AstraZeneca vaccine
  • 4 weeks after the Johnson & Johnson vaccine
  • 2 weeks after a single injection for those with a history of contracting the COVID-19 virus

In addition to the above, travellers from Qatar must present a negative PCR test of less than 72 hours or a negative antigenic test of less than 48 hours before they depart to France.

For those who are not yet fully vaccinated, previous special conditions will be maintained.

For travellers wishing to travel to France, but do not already have a fully valid visa, the Ambassade de France au Qatar will reopen its visa service in the coming weeks. No date has been decided yet.
