An announcement was made by the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Turkey on its Twitter page about new procedures imposed by the Turkish authorities on Qataris wanting to travel to Turkey. The new procedure will be effective from 15 March 2021.

The new procedures are as follow:

1. -The traveller will fill an online traveller entry form on the Turkish Ministry of Health website: https://register.health.gov.tr
2. The form must be filled 72 hours prior to the flight.
3. The traveller must print the completed form or download it on their phone and show it to the airline, so they can check the form and validate it.
4. The travellers can fill the form prior to getting on the plane, in case they didn't fill it before.
5. The traveller will get a HES CODE after completing the form and this code can be used during travelling and during their stay in Turkey.
6. The Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Turkey also urges those wishing to travel to check if rules, regulations and restrictions have changed depending on the COVID-19 pandemic.
