The Saudi Gazette reported on 29 October 2022 that the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced the extension of the duration of the Umrah visa from 30 to 90 days.
Additionally, it was mentioned that the ministry urged pilgrims to ensure their pilgrimage is completed within the specified duration and to avoid violating regulations by staying on the expiry time of the visa.
During the mentioned duration, pilgrims will be able to travel between Makkah and Madinah and all other cities within Saudi Arabia.
Furthermore, pilgrims will be able to enter and exit from any of the international or domestic airports within Saudi Arabia.
It was also mentioned that pilgrims must be registered to the 'Nusuk' application and have issued Umrah permits. Additionaly, it is essential that they have an effective visa to Saudi Arabia such as an Umrah visa, Tourism visa or Visit visa.
