In a tweet, Doha Metro and Lusail Tram announced alternative tram transportation services on May 26 and 27, 2023. This alternative transportation service will be provided to the public on the Orange Line of the Lusail Tram network only.

Metro express services will operate as normal. Passengers can request "Metroexpress" vehicles at the service area of Energy City South Station to move to and from other tram stations.
