The Hamad International Airport has denied the false rumours that have been circulating on Whatsapp since morning about the airport being temporarily closed from 31 December 2021. The airport has reiterated that it will continue to operate as normal for all travellers, according to a Tweet posted by HIA.

According to HIA, policies and procedures for entry into Qatar are carefully managed and monitored by the Ministry of Public Health, and any updates are constantly updated on the MoPH website.
HIA advises the public to refer to only the accurate information from official sources, and to disregard rumours coming from unidentified sources.
