The Doha Metro & Lusail Tram announced on 7 September 2022 that Doha Metro & Lusail Tram services will be extended on 9 September 2022 to accommodate the Lusail Super Cup.

The Doha Metro & Lusail Tram will operate from 1 pm till 3 am; only for the day.

Other service changes will also take place on 9 September 2022 such as:

• Entrance 2 at Lusail QNB station will only be accessible through metrolink
  
• The entrance cannot be used by private vehicles and taxis
• Park & Ride facility will not be available at the Lusail QNB station
