It is note worthy that the management of the park. I decided to keep these trees planted at the same place, and the allocation of a place for the establishment of such events, with members of the community in the future, so that they can always go back to follow up the growth of this Trees, and there will be a shadow in the future.

برنامج استدامة يزرع 50 شجرة في منتزه الخور

أقام برنامج قطر الوطني للتنمية المستدامة (استدامة) فعالية لزراعة الأشجار في منتزه الخور بالتعاون مع إدارة الحدائق العامة بوزارة البلدية والبيئة .
شارك في الفعالية الشيخة نور بنت جاسم آل ثاني رئيس مجلس إدارة برنامج استدامة وعدد من ممثلي إدارة الحدائق العامة وبرنامج استدامة ، بحضور السيد/ شاهين المهندي المسؤول الإداري لمنتزه الخور ، وذلك تأكيداً على أهمية الزراعة وغرس هذه العادة في جميع أفراد المجتمع .
كما شارك حوالي 50 شخصاً يمثلون جميع فئات المجتمع ، حيث قاموا بزارعة (50) شجرة في أرجاء حديقة المنتزه ، وقدم مهندسو إدارة الحدائق شرحاً مبسطاً عن أنواع هذه الأشجار وفوائدها وكيفية زراعتها والعناية بها ، وذلك بمساعدة وإشراف فريق إدارة المنتزه.
وتضمنت الفعالية ، تقديم نبذة عن المنتزه للمشاركين واصطحابهم في جولة داخل أنحاء المنتزه.
جدير بالذكر أن إدارة المنتزه قررت الإبقاء على هذه الأشجار المزروعة بنفس المكان ، وتخصيص مكان لإقامة مثل هذه الفعاليات مع أفراد المجتمع في المستقبل ، حتى يتسنى لهم الرجوع دوماً لمتابعة نمو هذه الأشجار والاستظلال بظلها في المستقبل .
وفي ختام الزيارة، تقدمت الشيخة نور بنت جاسم آل ثاني بالنيابة عن برنامج استدامة بالشكر لإدارة الحدائق العامة بشكل خاص على تعاونها ودعمها المستمر، ولوزارة البلدية والبيئة بشكل عام على الإشراف والدعم كشريك استراتيجي داعم للبرنامج على مدار الأعوام السابقة.
