Qatar Foundation (QF) has announced that the Education City Tram's Yellow Line will soon be operational. QF mentioned that this will enable the community and those travelling to Education City to park their cars in any of the designated car parks and use tram services.

In order to ensure the safety of the community and the general public, QF has released a set of guidelines:

1. Follow the signposted speed limits, obey the road traffic signals, and follow any signposted instructions and guidance provided by Qatar Foundation security personnel.
2. Tram services have priority at junctions, so please approach junctions with caution and be patient in allowing trams to cross.
3. Speed humps have been installed to remind APAR car drivers to stay within the speed limit and give way at pedestrian crossings.
4. Vehicles can only be parked in designated parking areas. Short-term parking and passenger drop-off at junctions, or across the tramway, is not permitted.
5. Please do not obstruct the tramway. Stop cars away from tram lines in the designated areas.
6. Pedestrians are reminded to use designated pedestrian crossings.
7. Cyclists and scooter riders are not permitted to use the tramway.
8. Pedestrians should look in both directions before attempting to cross the tramway to ensure no vehicle is approaching.
9. Motorists who do not adhere to the road traffic rules will be reported to the relevant authorities.
