During the Cabinet Meeting that took place at the Amiri Diwan earlier today and was chaired by His Excellency Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, a draft resolution was approved by Qatar Tourism to consider holiday homes as hotel facilities.
Under the project, holiday homes are considered hotel establishments, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 20 of 2018 on the regulation of tourism and its provisions, and holiday homes are intended for furnished and accommodation units, which are equipped with facilities, whether from rooms, apartments, houses, villas or camps, and are rented as a complete unit or fragmented on a daily or weekly basis or any temporary period of not more than 30 consecutive days.
