Doha Metro has just announced through its social media channels that effective from tomorrow (February 21st) there will be a pricing change for Limited Use paper tickets. This is to minimise the usage and environmental impact of disposable paper tickets.
Single journey paper ticket for Standard Class will now be priced at QAR 3 from its previous QAR 2 while Limited Use paper ticket for Standard Class Day Pass will now be QAR 9 from its previous QAR 6.
For Gold Pass single-use paper ticket, the price has increased to QAR 15 from QAR 10 previously. Gold Class Day Pass paper ticket will now be priced at QAR 45 from its former price of QAR 30.
Rates for the reusable Travel Cards remain unchanged.
