In a Tweet, Doha Metro & Lusail Tram has announced that all of their 37 metro stations will remain open and accessible between the 6th - 10th August 2021, during the Corniche road closures.

There was also an announcement by Doha Metro & Lusail Tram on Twitter that due to Corniche road closures, Doha Metro will be open for the public on 6th August 2021 from 14:00 to 23:59.

As per Doha Metro & Lusail Tram, due to essential systems upgrades across the network, Metro services will continue to be suspended on 13 and 20 August 2021.

Updated (2 August 2021, 6.30pm)

The Doha Metro & Lusail Tram has also announced that due to road closures around the Corniche, the Metrolink M143 service will be diverted between 6th and 10th August 2021.

The M143 will operate to Hamad Hospital Station (Green Line) and will not serve Corniche station. Customers requiring the Red Line should change at Al Bidda station.
