Qatar Airways in a tweet on 10 May 2023 confirmed that flight QR960 from Doha to Denpasar experienced severe turbulence en route, which resulted in injuries sustained by some individuals on board.
The Boeing 777-300 ER was diverted to Bangkok, where it landed safely to provide affected passengers and crew with necessary medical attention.

Qatar Airways said that their passengers' and crew's safety and security remains their top priority. Qatar Airways will issue an updated statement when further details are available.
