Discover Qatar has now added the 'Visa on Arrival' hotel option on their website and booking may now be accessed through this link.

On the same page, a notice is displayed saying “For more information on the Visa on Arrival requirement please visit the Ministry of Interior website.

Note: Please check the official websites before you make any travel plans and call the relevant entity or authority to ensure you have the most up-to-date information.

On the Ministry of Interior link provided on the Discover Qatar website, different nationalities can check the requirements for a visa on arrival or other types of visas applicable for them. The requirements vary depending on the nationality, country of residence, type of passport, etc.

As per (ILQ) team's call with Discover Qatar's hotline at 10:01 pm, the Discover Qatar representative mentioned that those who enter the country with a visa on arrival plus a mandatory hotel booking requirement will need to have their hotel bookings done only through the Discover Qatar website.

If you wish to check if you are eligible for a visa on arrival and if you are required to have a hotel booking, you may do so here:

Discover Qatar had earlier added a separate booking option for visas on arrival for Indian, Pakistani and Iranian nationals, which was later suspended and the link was removed from their website on 6th April 2022.
