The official Twitter account of Doha Metro & Lusail Tram announced a service update on 7 May 2022. As per the announcement, on 7 May, the Doha Metro services on the Green Line only will be replaced with alternative services. metrolink will operate as normal.

As per the announcement:

• Replacement buses will run every 10 min between Al Bidda and Al Riffa Mall of Qatar stopping at all the stations except White Palace.
• A shuttle replacement service will run every 10 min between Al Mansoura and Al Doha Al Jadeda station on the Red Line.
