The Ministry of Tourism of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Visit Saudi) announced via its official Twitter account that the Saudi Arabia tourist visa will now be available for all GCC residents regardless of profession.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has removed the eligible occupation requirement for GCC residents to obtain tourist visas.

The tourist visa entitles the holder to enter the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a tourist or to perform Umrah. It is available for single and multiple entries.

Requirements for tourist eVisa for GCC residents

  • Minimum age of 18 years old. (For children under 18, the parent is required to apply first.)
  • Passport valid at least six months.
  • Residency ID from a GCC country valid for at least three months.
Notes:
  • Tourists entering to perform Umrah are not allowed during the Hajj season.
  • For those traveling with family, applicants must complete separate visa applications for each and must accompany the member upon entering Saudi.

How much are the fees?

  • The eVisa is SAR 300 plus full health insurance fees.
  • The visa application fee is non-refundable.

What is the validity of the eVisa?

  • The multiple-entry tourist visa is valid for one year from the date of issuance, and the permissible period of stay is 90 days.
  • The single-entry tourist visa is valid for three months from the date of issuance, and the permissible period of stay is 30 days.

How to apply for Saudi Arabia tourist eVisa?

  1. Visit the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's visa webiste.
  2. Fill out the required information.
  3. Upload the required documents.
  4. Pay the eVisa fees.
  5. Wait for approval. Once approved, the eVisa will be sent to the registered e-mail address.
