According to a report by Reuters, Airbus confirmed on 8 September 2022 that it had revoked all remaining A350 orders from Qatar Airways as the safety and contractual dispute with the 5-star airline continues.
A spokesperson from Airbus has said to Reuters, "Airbus confirms that it has removed 19 Qatar Airways A350s from the backlog."
The order cancellation was reflected in the monthly order data published by Airbus on 8 September 2022.
Airbus has booked orders for 843 jets since January 2022, totaling 637 after cancellations including order reversals by customers and the aircraft withheld from Qatar by Airbus.
It delivered a net total of 380 jets after deducting two A350 aircraft built for Aeroflot, however, was impossible to deliver due to sanctions.
