Ministry of Transport announced 4 vital sites for “Park and Ride” as part of the Public Bus Infrastructure Program in Qatar.
The "Park and Ride" project is to provide free parking spaces near Doha Metro stations aiming to encourage vehicle owners to use the modern public transportation systems to and from their destinations in less time and at a lower cost.
This Project is another example of the considerable attention MOT pays to the modern, sustainable and eco-friendly public transportation systems. MOT is continuously working to improve public transit services and increase ridership over the coming years. For this to happen, MOT provides high-quality transportation services, modern parking facilities that are strategically distributed across the country and accessible by everyone easily and affordably.
