Qatari artist Ahmed Al Maadheed, famous for his iconic ‘Tamim Al Majd’ painting, is set to unveil 48 paintings and six art pieces at a new exhibition called ‘5/6’ - the date that marked a turning point in the country’s recent history. The show will officially open at Art 29 at W Doha Hotel & Residences on Sunday and will be open to the public from September 17 to October 16. Divided into several sections, the exhibition will feature a section which showcases art that describes the pride and glory of Qatar with a number of masterpieces which combine passion, commitment and creativity.
