Ever since the first edition in 2014, there’s never been anything like the Wings for Life World Run. Runners and wheelchair participants across the world all start together and are chased by a moving finish line called the Catcher Car. The initiative aims to raise funds through registration and participation to support research for Spinal Cord Injuries. Join the movement in Doha by downloading the App Run and come run with us for those who can't.

Qatar Foundation Aquathlon Series

Qatar Foundation Aquathlon Series

Continuing from the Qatar Aquathon Series, the last and final race of the Qatar Foundation Aquathlon Series 2017-2018 will take place on the morning of Friday 11th May, starting at 6.30am sharp, since things are starting to heat up now. The venue is QF Education City Recreation Centre.

The schedule for the race will be start with the longer Sprint distance wave at 6.30am to get the 5K runners on the run course first, with the 200m swimmers starting when the 500m swimmers are out of the pool, and the final wave Kids 1 100m going next. Once all the Kids 1 are out of the pool, there will be a short Mini-Kids race for under 7s that are able to swim a 50m length of the pool and followed by a short run. No registration is required for the Mini-Kids Aquathlon.

Chip Timing & TriClub Doha Membership

This event is chip timed using mylaps prochips. Race Entry includes the rental of a chip which can be collected at registration.

TriClub Doha Members are expected to use their own members timing chips to race and are also provided a 30% on race entry fees

30 performers bring the story of a 1000 years of change! The production includes three separate varieties of dance forms that is traditional folklore to the Filipino people – the Singkil Dance, MassKara Dance & Modern Ati Atihan.
