Qumra: A Space for New Voices in Cinema

Running until Tuesday, February 20, the Doha Film Institute presents Qumra, an initiative that provides mentorship, nurturing, and hands-on development for filmmakers from Qatar and around the world. Attendees can register now for their Qumra Pass as five acclaimed Qumra Masters – directors and filmmakers from across the globe will lead panel-style discussions alongside feature film screenings and Q&A sessions.

Aspire Winter Festival

Aspire Zone is set to welcome thousands of visitors at Qatar’s largest entertainment event as the Aspire Winter Festival kicked off on Thursday, February 1 and will run until May 1! Featuring over 50 activities for the whole family, it’s a great way to spend a day or evening together outdoors and keeping active!

Mall of Qatar Bubble Show

Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra: Pictures at an Exhibition

Head to the Katara Opera House for a rousing night at the symphony, as the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra as Conductor of Honour, Dmitrij Kitajenko leads the QPO, with soloist Christopher Park on the piano.

Performing compositions from Paul Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Concerto No. 27 in B Flat Major, and Modest Mussorgsky’s, Pictures at an Exhibition, arranged by Maurice Ravel. This is one evening of culture that’s not to be missed!
