Qatar National Library will organize an online introduction to Al-Nagda, one of the oldest Gulf heritage crafts. The workshop aims to learn about the art of embroidering local fabrics and costumes with silver and golden wires to add a smooth artistic and aesthetic touch. The workshop explains the concept of Al-Nagda and its history and important role in Gulf culture. It will show the tools and fabrics that were used in sewing it in the past, along with a presentation of drawings and types of Al-Nagda designs.

Al Markhiya Gallery at the Firestation Doha hosts an art exhibition. Devised to contribute to the development of a new visual movement in Qatar, “2030” seeks to draw talented Qatari artists from multidisciplinary art practices together, engaging them in creative and intellectual encounters focusing on the future of Qatar. Featured in the exhibition are Abeer Al Kuwari, Ahmed Nouh, Mohammed Atiq, Khalifa Al Thani, Hassan Manasrah, Yasser Al Mulla, Nassar Al Attiyah, Mohammed Al Hamadi and Maryam Faraj Al Suwaidi.

Featuring a journey through six decades and three continents, Faces and Places is Huguette Caland's largest solo museum exhibition to date. Huguette Caland was the daughter of the first president of the Republic of Lebanon. The exhibition features her paintings, drawings, caftans, smocks, and sculptures and evokes Caland's journey through Beirut, Paris, and California, encompassing the "faces and places that inform her rich oeuvre, all while highlighting the predominant theme in her work, the line."

The Museum of Islamic Arts has opened an exhibition entitled A Falcons Eye: Tribute To Sheikh Saoud Al-Thani. The exhibition showcases more than 300 outstanding artworks from prehistoric fossils and Egyptian antiquities to Orientalist paintings and masterpieces of the history of photography in a spectacular display following the concept of ancient (Renaissance) “cabinet of curiosities” reflecting Sheikh Saoud’s fascination with both natural history and the art world.
