This exclusive production, combining music, dance, costumes and props, showcases the authentic Punjabi and Lezim Folk Dance with 20 professional artists from the 6th of August until the 18th with daily shows at 12:30pm, 5:30pm, and 8:00pm.

The Authentic Punjabi Performance with Dhol Artists Punjab is known to have one of the most diverse and expressive culture in India, with music and dance as an important component for showcasing it. The dances of Punjab are the most energetic forms of performing arts that you will ever witness. The synchronization found in the dances is simply outstanding. Almost all dances of the state are accompanied with a dhol.

As for the Lezim Folk Dance (Maharashtra) is well known for its varied cultures and traditions. Lezim is a folkdance form and is widely enjoyed by the people of Maharashtra. In this dance art, performers carry a small instrument which are jingling cymbals.

2. Antelopes have hooves made for their habitat. The klipslinger antelope has tiny suction-pad like pads on its hooves to help it climb steep rocks. Antelope that live in the desert have wide, flat hooves to help them walk on the sand.

Sajaya Exhibition

Sajaya’ showcases 24 arabic calligraphy works of Turkish calligrapher Zaki al-Hashemi, highlighting the Arab and Islamic heritage. Sajaya, which means ‘simplicity’, reflects each of the items at the exhibition since most of the paintings are simple calligraphy art but with “a high cultural value.”

Colour Bar

Colour Bar

The Colour Bar - the first exhibition at Building 19 showcased paintings and art installations of popular anime cartoon characters by six Qatari artists. Abdulaziz Yousef, Kholoud al-Ali, Aisha al-Khulaify, Mohamed al-Sharif, Fatima al-Nisf and Hamad al-Mataowa, who come from different backgrounds and trends, joined hands to showcase their artistic skills and put up what is described as an impressive show.

A key element of this one-of-its-kind exhibition is it introduces different anime and popular cartoon characters in a unique way. The Colour Bar is also a visual interpretation to the artists perspective on how they see their daily life. The artists huddle to unify their artistic flair to build up a conclusive coherent exhibition that bridges past with present and future.
