Aspire Zone is ready to welcome thousands of visitors to Qatar’s largest entertainment event, the “Aspire Winter Festival”, which opens to the public on Thursday.
The “Aspire Winter Festival”, running through May 1st, features more than 50 activities and entertainment events for the whole family to enjoy in one place at Aspire Park, the destination of choice during the welcoming winter months.
Festival organisers brought a number of unusual and fun activities for festival attendees, including musical performances, a pop up art gallery, a pirate treasure hunt, an extreme rush slide, a circus, an extreme race, a 7D cinema, a theatre, a sand pit, and many lego and board games, as well as rock climbing and archery stations.
The festival also has a dedicated food and beverage area, featuring more than 14 outlets, as well as 30 shopping outlets introducing international vendors.
The festival welcomes visitors every day from 4 pm to 10 pm, except Fridays and Saturdays when the festival is open from 3 pm to 10 pm.
As part of its corporate social responsibility commitment, AZF will also mark a number of international observances, including World Health Day, Earth Hour, and World Youth Day among others.

In Partnership with Ministry of Municipality and Environment, The British Council in Qatar brings to you “Streets of Doha” Maze at Dahl Al Hammam Park. An exciting public installation for families to enjoy the feel of old Doha streets. There will also be a selection of traditional Qatari games. Children can enjoy creating their own collages of the existing streets of Doha and will be able to design their dream spaces. The maze will be open to the public from 26th March – 26th May 2018 with special family activity every Friday from 4pm – 8pm. Free admission every day for 2 months from 26th March – 26th May 2018.

Sidra Medicine, a specialty children’s, young people and women’s healthcare organization and member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF), announced a new schedule for its ongoing series of educational workshops, this time focusing on child safety tips both at home and on the road.
The free workshops offer the local community a chance to speak with Sidra Medicine experts, ask questions, and connect with other parents and families in the country. The sessions are part of Sidra Medicine’s Child Safety and Injury Prevention Program. The program was launched in March 12, 2018 and aims to educate participants about essential child safety tips, from ensuring their ride home from the hospital is a safe one to preventing burn injuries in all areas of the home.
To date, Sidra Medicine has organized four workshops for both patients and community members, giving them the necessary knowledge to handle real-life safety situations. The upcoming child car seat safety workshops will be held on April 2nd and May 2nd, while the home safety workshops will be held on April 16th and May 7th. All workshops will be held at the Patient Resource Center in the Outpatient Clinic at Sidra Medicine, with the English-language workshops taking place from 10:00 – 11:00 am, and the Arabic-language ones from 3:00 – 4:00 pm.

Sidra Medicine opened its inpatient facility on January 14th, 2018 and has recently began accepting referrals from private clinics, Al-Rayyan Health Center and Gharrafat Al Rayyan Health Center, in addition to ongoing referrals from Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) Centers.

The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) is organising for the seventh consecutive year Senyar Championship. This annual marine competition is comprised of fishing and pearl diving contests with valuable prizes allocated to the winning contestants.
