Get creative and set up a treasure hunt in your home with a fun prize at the end. Make up some clues and ask everyone to solve the clues so they can move through the treasure hunt to get to the treasure at the end. It’s sure to keep everyone busy for a while.

March 30, 2020: Exercise with the kids

Make a routine with your kids and set some time aside during the day to do some exercise. This will, not only, keep them busy, but will help keep them healthy and active during the time they are in the house and unable to do outside activities. Let your kids pick the exercise they want to do. There are many resources on YouTube where you and the kids can exercise together.

March 31, 2020: Play board games

It's time to bring out those board games. This would be the perfect time to play games like Monopoly, Game of Life, Scrabble, Risk, etc. and watch the time fly as you all battle against each other to see who'll win.

April 1, 2020: Listen to audio books

Reading books is a very healthy habit and helps you to grow and develop. It opens up a new world and helps you explore different feelings, experiences and places. If you have younger kids who can't read themselves or are just learning, try out the many audio books that are available online. Let your kids choose what they want to listen to, and then set out some time during the day when they should put everything else aside and listen to the audio book. It's not just for kids though, you can also listen to audio books, while you do your chores or when you have some free time and want to relax. Isn't this just the perfect time to start writing a journal of how you're passing the time at home during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in Qatar. You can express how you feel, what you do to pass the time, how you stay in touch with people. You can write about anything you want. Why not get the kids into keeping a journal, too.
