It’s the season to be chilly.️ Mark your calendars for WinterFest, Qatar’s first immersive indoor theme park where a world of snowy wonders awaits you from 21 December 2021 to 8 January 2022! Discover a sleigh-full of holiday activities, whimsical décor, seasonal food and drinks & much more!

Doha Quest’s festivities will include an enchanting transformation of the park with sparkling lights, a winter tunnel, a life-size holiday lantern, a magical wintery forest, and more, giving guests an unforgettable experience and a chance to capture magical shots throughout the event. A limited number of tickets are available, so get yours soon!

JEDARIART brings artists together to add colour and meaning to the walls in Doha via street art. The aim of the programme is to promote artistic talent in designated districts across the city. It is also part of Qatar Museums' ongoing commitment to supporting and promoting public art.

Following the success of the first-ever JEDARIART, Qatar Museums are delighted to announce that they are now receiving applications for the next round of entries. So if you are interested in creating mural art in Doha, submit your portfolio and/or proposal to be part of their JEDARIART database for allocating murals! Don't miss this golden opportunity!


  • Criteria: Must be a resident in Qatar.
  • Date: This is an ongoing open call.
  • Location: Working with partners, walls are available throughout the year in various parts of the city.
  • Jedariart database: When wall opportunities become available, you may be contacted for a proposal.

Would you love to go kayaking in Qatar? AquaSports Qatar will take you on a beautiful kayak tour. You will also get to see a lot of bird life and is a favorite destination for nature lovers. This is suitable for families and those looking for a relaxed easy paddle taking in the greenery and birdlife of the nature reserve. Fitness Level: anyone can join, swimming skills: not required as its mostly shallow water and all equipment is provided.

Please bring the following:

  • Closed shoes or sandals that can get wet, it can be rocky in certain places.
  • Comfortable clothes to wear for kayaking (light, loose fitting clothing is best), shorts and t-shirt work well. (Please try to be dressed following the rules of the country)
  • Change of clothes for after the trip.
  • A towel, sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat/cap, phone waterproof case.
  • Refillable water bottle.

Jeff Koons: Lost in America

Part of the Qatar-United States 2021 Year of Culture, Jeff Koons: Lost in America exhibition will run until 31 March 2022 at the QM Gallery Al Riwaq at MIA Park. This is Koons’ first exhibition in the Gulf region, which will feature more than sixty artworks drawn from his four-decades-long career, including some of his most iconic pieces such as Rabbit (1986), Balloon Dog (Orange) (1994–2000), and Play-Doh (1994–2014). Get ready to be mesmerized!
