Doha International Book Fair 2022

Starting 18 January 2022, children under the age of 12 will be allowed to enter the Doha International Book Fair daily from 4 pm to 9 pm, provided that they are accompanied by their parents, with the need to adhere to all COVID-19 precautions.

Book lovers - this event is for you! The Doha International Book Fair is back! As many as 37 countries are participating in this year's book fair. The exhibition is showcasing the latest and most recent publications that reflect creative and reflective knowledge across all fields. Will you be attending?

• The fair will open from 9 am to 10 pm throughout the week.
• Except Friday, it is open from 3 pm to 10 pm.

Precautionary measures & entry:

• In line with health regulations imposed by authorities, only 30% of the venue’s capacity will be allowed to attend the book fair at any one time.
• Entry and exit will be heavily monitored to avoid overcrowding and social distancing measures will be implemented at all times.
• Pre-registration will be required through a link: CLICK HERE and only fully vaccinated people or those who have recovered from COVID-19 within the last 12 months will be allowed in.
• The visit to the exhibition will be limited to vaccinated, including children 12 years and over, who completed 14 days after taking the second dose or recovered from COVID-19 for a period of no less than 12 months.
• It is also mandatory for all visitors to show green Ehteraz to enter.

Designers take note as a new and exciting program is here! For this year’s Zwara Program, M7 is looking to redefine the role of fashion in Qatar’s society. They are inviting emerging designers from all fields to explore and produce garments, textiles, or accessories, drawing inspiration from the exhibition as well as from local creatives and global design experts whom they will be exposed to during this program.

Karting at Losail Circuit Sports Club

As per Losail Circuit Sports Club, the Losail Karting events have been cancelled due to the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions.

Do you love go-karting? Have fun at the tracks by doing some laps at Losail Circuit Sports Club! The karting track for adults is 0.760 km with 8 meters in width with a capacity of 12 karts racing at the same time. All go-karting bookings are done online and they will not accept any walk-ins. Please note that currently the Kids Karting Track is closed - no children below 12 years old are allowed.

• If you are a new participant, click REGISTER FOR KARTING to make an online booking.
• If you are an existing member, you can sign in, choose the event you wish to register for and follow the prompts.
• Payment will be by credit card online. Please check and update all your personal data.
