Katara Cultural Village is organizing the 11th Traditional Dhow Festival. Qatar nationals and residents 18 years old and above, including those abroad, are invited to participate in the painting competition. On hot summer nights in old Doha, grandparents and grandchildren slept on the rooftops to catch the evening breeze. On those unforgettable nights, grandparents told mesmerizing Hazawi (stories) to the little grandchildren that spoke of a sea monster and a woman with donkey legs! In celebration of Qatar National Day, get ready to join from your home to listen to stories from Qatar's past.
Qatar Art Exhibition for Young Adults - December 18, 2021, 4 pm to 5 pm
In celebration of Qatar National Day, QNL invites all talented young adult artists to showcase their appreciation for Qatari culture through painting and other art forms. This two-hour session will give you the opportunity to work alongside several members of Qatar’s arts community.

- Some of the Library’s events and workshops will continue to be offered online until further notice. About 24 hours before the event, a librarian will send you the link you can use to attend.
- They have a variety of events; they are free to attend, some are for the general public and some are targeted for children.
Enjoy 8 interactive installations, 1 musical water show and the largest ever monumental LED installation in Qatar! The light and sound shows will be held at the Corniche from Al Masrah Park to Pearl Monument, from 26 November to 19 December, coinciding with the Qatar International Food Festival.
