If you're a Vodafone Qatar user, do you get random calls from a 195 number?
I do, and I find them rather annoying. Sometimes, I get calls from 195 in the middle of the night, and I wake up in a panic thinking it’s an emergency only to see 195 flashing on my mobile screen. Sometimes, I am in a meeting, and the mobile rings incessantly. I excuse myself from the meeting thinking it may be my children with an emergency, but, lo and behold, it’s the third party caller 195 that Vodafone Qatar uses for its promotional offers!
When I have accidentally picked up the call on a few occasions, I am bombarded by Vodafone promotions that I am really not interested in. An SMS would suffice, but no, no, they have to call at all hours of the day and night hoping someone will fall prey to the promotion and stay on the phone long enough to listen to it all. Not me though. I hang up almost immediately.
For a long time, I have suffered in silence. Not anymore. I recently discovered there's a solution and a way to stop the 195 calls.
To deactivate calls from 195, dial *200*321# from your Vodafone number and click on the call button.
You may be asked to select your language preference: English or Arabic. Select your desired language and click on Send.
Voila! Problem solved.
No more annoying calls from 195!
However, if you ever do want to receive calls from 195 after deactivation, dial *250*321# and click on the call button.
