Qatar Science & Technology Park (QSTP) – a member of Qatar Foundation Research, Development & Innovation (QF RDI) – has announced that applications are now open for the 10^th cycle of the XLR8 program.

This intensive, two-month program is designed to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with training and mentorship to help you determine whether your tech-based idea has commercial potential. XLR8 will empower you to transform your tech-based service/product from its initial idea stage, into a well-crafted prototype and commercially viable business model. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, XLR8 will run virtually to ensure everyone’s safety during this period.

XLR8 began in 2015 and has proved a great success, attracting well in excess of 100 teams, many of whom have successfully launched over 20 start-ups both in Qatar and abroad.

There are many benefits for those wishing to join the XLR8 program. These include the opportunity to meet an incredible network of experienced mentors and coaches who specialize in the commercialization of tech-based inventions, along with the necessary support to help you create intricate and functional prototypes.

Applications are open for informal teams – of up to five members – who are residents in Qatar. You and your team should have a tech-based service/product idea and believe that you need mentorship to explore and enhance its commercial potential. XLR8 seeks commitment from all participants, who must also be passionate, critical, and open-minded.

The last day to apply for cycle 10 of the XLR8 program is on 31 July 2020.
