The Peninsula Newspaper reported on June 20 2022, the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) announcement of the 2022 World Padel Championships to be hosted in Qatar.
The championship will take place from October 31 till November 5 2022 and the venue will be Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex.
The International Padel Federation had also tweeted on June 17 2022, that 38 countries have registered for the tournament taking place in Qatar.

Qatar has hosted the championship once before and this will make it the second time in a row.
The participants will comprise of 38 males teams and 34 female teams.
