The 2023 IJF World Judo Championships Organizing Committee unveiled its brand and logo inspired by Qatar's sports culture and Doha city’s urban development.

As part of the brand and logo unveiling, some of Qatar's iconic structures, such as the Al Jaber Twin Tower in Lusail, The Torch Doha in Al Waab, Al Asmakh Mall in Al Sadd, and the M7 building in Msheireb, were decorated with the Judo Doha 2023 logo and colors.

This brand concept and logo are inspired by the letter "D" which is the first letter of the host country's capital: Doha. The brand colors are red and purple, which depict Judo’s skills and movements, symbolizing the spirit and excitement of the sport.

The Tatami, which is the mat that is used on judo flooring, is visible in the background of all logo elements.

Khalid bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee and General Manager

"We together feel confident that this international Judo event will hit the peak of success and will be an exceptional event. The logo fittingly combines the words (Judo and Doha) which could be read both vertically and horizontally.

We are grateful for the unwavering support of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, The president of Qatar Olympic Committee and the local organizing committee. Because of our world-class experience of hosting major sport events and our sport infrastructure, we are ready to organize a global judo event that will remain memorable."

Judo Doha 2023 is scheduled to happen on May 7 - 14, 2023 at the Ali bin Hamad Al-Attiyah Arena.
