As part of its ongoing efforts to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle, Qatar Fuel “WOQOD” celebrated the fourth Qatar's National Sports Day (QNSD) through a sponsorship and participation of the “Beach Touch Rugby Challenge”. Featuring 14 teams, the challenge was held at Cultural Village Foundation - Katara Beach, and attended by Minister of Energy and Industry HE Dr. Mohamad Bin Saleh Al Sada and WOQOD employees from WOQOD and their families. Eng. Ibrahim Jaham Al-Kuwari, WOQOD CEO said, “Human beings, irrespective of belief, background, language or location, are brought together in the pursuit of sport and competition. This universal language, coupled with the leadership’s vision 2030 to develop the physical and mental wellbeing of citizens, had led to the establishment of a National Sports Day. Because of these values, we at WOQOD, are proud to partner with and be associated with this event. We hope that initiatives like the QNSD will get our employees and communities into a regular habit of participating in physical activities and in turn, lead healthier lives.”
