In the Qualifying session of the Qatar Superbike round 5 held at Losail International Circuit, Anthony West made the best lap time, 2:01.800. 'It was very windy today but still happy with my lap timings. I look forward to much faster lap times and better weather conditions tomorrow to win the race. Alex raged with a fierce battle pushing hard and I am sure he will not let it be easy for me but I will try to win two races’ said West after the sessions.

Defending champion, Alex Cudlin made the second best lap time of 2:02.658. 'I think it will be a big fight with Anthony. Mishal, is ahead of me in the championship and I need to beat him every time I can. Let’s see what tomorrow will bring. 15 laps is a long race and anything can happen , so I will have to make a clean race with zero mistakes’ said Cudlin.

Nasser Al Malki got the third best time, 2:03.658. ‘I am happy and confident with my bike. Tomorrow, I will try to get good results and get to the podium’ said Al Malki.

The Leader of the championship Mashel Al Naimi ended in the fourth position with 2:03.938 lap time.

Supersport fastest rider was the Qatari Fahid Al Sowaidi and the Colombian John Mario Garcia fastest rider in the LARSS category.

In the Qatar Challenge round 6, Mark Holroyd took the pole position today with a lap time of 2:26.499

The second place in the grid will be for Talal Wehbe who made a lap time of 2:29.154. Peter De Vido, will start from the third place as he did a lap time of 2:30.399.
