Turkish Airlines, the national carrier of Turkey and Europe’s best airline*, hosted the second edition of its annual Turkish Airlines Bowling 2015 tournament for its travel agents in Qatar on April 10, 2015, at the Qatar Bowling Centre. The tournament is part of a wider competition that has 64 destinations participating worldwide individually for their respective country winners.
The winners will meet in Istanbul for the grand final on May 23 at the Profilo Shopping Mall’s Timeout Bowling Center. The winners will get an Antalya vacation (5 days) - First Place,
US flight ticket or Far East Flight ticket - Second Place, and Europe flight ticket or Istanbul ticket - Third Place, all courtesy of Turkish Airlines.
The Qatar tournament was won by Darwish Travel Co. W.L.L.
Managed by professional referrees of Qatar Bowling Centre, the event witnessed over 24 travel agencies competing in teams of 3 each to win attractive prizes.
Mehmed Kursad Caymaz, General Manager of Turkish Airlines in Qatar, said: “The Turkish Airlines Bowling 2015 tournament was not only organised to create a bond between the airline and its Qatar agents but also to foster a healthy competition between travel agencies in the country, who have contributed tremendously to driving our growth in Qatar.”
Turkish Airlines now has 14 weekly flights to Doha, Qatar, connecting travellers from the city to 266 destinations globally, across 109 countries, the largest country network for an airline.
