Doha Dash is an organic event based in Qatar.

An impressive 3,746 participants took part in the fourth annual Dolphin Energy Doha Dash that was held at Losail International Circuitas part of Qatar’s National Sport Day.

Double Olympic gold medallist Dame Kelly Holmes took part in the popular community event as she joined runners in the 10km race this time.

It is the second year for her to be an ambassador for Doha Dash and she completed 5km last year. Doha Dash is a competitive event; yet, most participants are looking to just have fun, enjoy themselves, and just love running.

Many participants also have a goal to be able to run greater distances with each and every coming year. Only 10% of the participants were Qatari last year and the event organizers were hoping to attract more locals next year. Presenting the winners’ trophies this year were Dolphin Energy, GO Sport and Dame Kelly Holmes.

And Khalifa Saleh Al Haroon, the founder of ILQ was the host and he provided entertainemnt and engagement for the participants.

Kelly supports 5 different charities, which include cancer patients, sports and hospice care.

She’s trying to raise £248,000. And all she’s asking for is a min of £2 from people who’d like to support the charities. If you are interested, please visit:
